I have watched many fantasy based films to get some ideas of how to show the story of my childs strong fantasy belief, and to get ideas of different ways of framing shots and different creative angles. These are some sceenes from A;ice in wonderland, I like the silouted shots and this angle with Alice looking around in amazement at her surroundings, I like how the light is streaming through the trees.

Hidden in Nature

This is a still I have taken from some filming I did in an over grown garden that I have been working in. This image in its true form in the garden is what first gave me my idea for this film. I watched the swing slowly moving in the gentle breeze, it gave me a feeling of something missing, I imagined a child once sitting in the swing laughing, now just a broken image of what once was. The whole garden was so run down and over grown and I have been slowly uncovering many wonders that once were loved parts of a well used garden but now forgotten. A little like the girl in my film when she moved from the country to the city she forgot about the faeries and they disappeared.

Hidden in Nature

These are stills from one of my first trial film shoots, while we were exploring different locations that would best suit the type of scenery I was looking for. I realy like the image of the little toadstil, it's one of those things that fascinate children, and if you believe in faeries then toadstils are a very special sign. I added the blue faery just for an experiment, although I like this image I feel it is to much to actualy show the true form of a faery.

Hidden in Nature

These are some photos I have taken and played around with in photo shop adding faeries, to use as my pictures for story bording my film. This explains the start of my film, the young girl growing up believing in faeries.
